A lift

I have just returned home after a hard day's work and felt ready for the compost heap. But I soon perked up when I was told by Taff Lovesey, ( another author), that his wife (Bridget) had just finished reading 'Touch My Heart' and that she enjoyed it even more than 'Brown Jade'. It is such a thrill to know this, it makes me want to start writing again.

compliments

Who doesn't like a compliment? Not me! Yesterday I received a lovely email from Su, she had just finished reading 'Touch My Heart.' This is what she said:
Hi Yong,
I just wanted to email you to say how fantastic I think your two books are, I read 'Brown Jade' when it came out a few years ago and just yesterday finished 'touch my heart'. Both books are so well written, they both kept my attention throughout and in fact I found it hard to put them both down, eager to know what else was going to happen in Jen's life! I really hope there is a third book on the way as I need to know how Jen's life continues! I would love to have the ability, patience and skills to write a book, I too am a nurse and you are an inspiration to me! Thank you!

Thanks you Su, it means a lot to receive such positive comments. Whether my next book would be a sequel to 'Touch My Heart' would depend on my readers, if more of you readers out there ask for it I would certainly give it my full attention.

I would also like to take this opportunity to announce that I am doing a signing in Nineveh Bookshop in Havant on the 11th of May at 7.30 pm. Many thanks to Tim Dawes for the privilege.
Please do come to see me if you can. I would be happy to answer any questions relating to myself and my book.

Touch My Heart

Hello readers,
I have come back from the wilderness after three years. 'Touch My Heart' is the reasult of much teeth gnashing and hand wringing. I have not been hibernating but rather cogitating and debating if I should vist places that my subconscious had comprehensively shut off.
You see readers, writing 'Touch My Heart' had really touched my soul. To write this book I had to face up to so many lost opportunites that my character Jen had to wrestle with and came up smiling. As for me, well, I smile all the time, after all I am fit, alive and kicking.
